If you live in the UK, or possible elsewhere in the world, this weekend you probably had fireworks, bonfires, and sparklers to celebrate the 5th November. This holiday remembers the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 where a group of conspirators nearly blew up King James VI of Scotland and I of England and most of Parliament (and with it most of the important members of the aristocracy and nobility).
